International MCR-Day @ Oulu

Its Monday morning and almost 40 My Chemical Romance fans have been announced to spend a day with other fans and celebrate the first IMCRD. Starting place was decide to be train-station and after that we would walk to the Ainolas park which would be full of happy IMCRD -wishing, My Chemical Romance listening people and people who are living their lives and can trust that they are not alone in this world. By coming to the station, there were already fans waiting for us and they were already talking about Mcrs first show in Finland July 3rd. More and more fans appeared all the time and there was one boy with them! At 12:00 am there were 38 mcr fans standing at the stairs of the train- station. Soon we started to walk, direction of Ainolas park. On the way we were singing songs and we got known each-other. It was amazing to see how we all were smiling although we had knew each-others only 15 minutes. We searched a good, peaceful place where we could play and have great time. First we said our names and started game called 'BANG' and after that we played pony game.

We laughed so much that everyones stomach were aching. We took picture where everyone was. It looks cool to see so many fans together. Who's afraid of MCR' was next game we played. We chose who were going to be Bob, Frank, Gerard, Mikey and Ray and we ran all over the grass people laughed to us and smiled them. Day was really hot so we had to go buy something to drink. We ran to the shop and bought water and Ice cream, we fed ducks and we went swung with little kids! It was a lot of fun and new fans appeared! We went back and it felt like we are bunch of very good friends for years.

Those fans, who seemed lonely at first, had had a lot of new friends at the short period of time and everyone had different story to tell how they found My Chemical Romance. We had IMCRD-meetings in three different cities in Finland : Oulu, Joensuu , Helsinki and people all over the word had meetings at this special day. By phone we wished each-others HAPPY IMCRD and they were also having awesome time there!

We walked just like marching band to middle town, looking for place to eat where our meeting group would fit in and luckily we found it! We continued after lunch walking back to Ainola's park and wished everyone happy International My Chemical Romance -Day! And some of them wished back. We really wanted everyone to know about IMCRD so we called different radio stations and day after they told people about our meetings and played MCR's songs! We also emailed to MTV. Walkers didn't know anything about our day and they come to us and asked about that.

A nice lady asked what is My Chemical Romance and when she heard it, she laughed and whished us happy day. Some man came to us and asked that are we chemist because our sign says 'my CHEMICAL romance' Of course we said no! We started again playing games and sadly couple fans had to go home because their train was leaving. Everyone was really sad because we knew that soon we all had to go home. We hugged everyone and for the last time we went to play the pony game. We walked at the starting place and listened 'Sleep'.

Clock was 08:30pm and there were only organisators left thinking of first International My chemical Romance day. When we were back at home, people thanked us for the lovely day when they made new friends and got to talk and listen more MCR than ever.
